Privacy Policy

Trade Alert ("the app") is made by Cybercodex. It lets you watch share, futures, options and commodity prices and get alerts. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. The app has no user accounts and we do not run a server that stores your data.

What stays on your phone

• Watchlists, holdings and alerts you create are stored only on your device.
• Broker login details (for example Angel One, Zerodha or Dhan API keys and session tokens), if you choose to connect a broker, are stored encrypted on your device using Android's secure storage. They are sent only to that broker to fetch live prices and price history.
• Telegram bot token and chat ID, if you turn on Telegram alerts, are stored encrypted on your device and sent only to Telegram to deliver your own alerts.
• Backups are files you create and choose where to save. We never receive them.

Market data

To show prices the app requests public market data for the instruments you watch, from your connected broker or from public sources (Yahoo Finance, NSE and the Angel One public instrument list). These requests contain the instrument names, not personal information.

Advertising

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and information about how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. In the EEA and UK you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google settings. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

App improvement

The app uses Google Firebase: Analytics (anonymous usage events such as which screens are opened, plus device model and OS version), Remote Config (to adjust settings such as how often ads appear). Firebase does not receive your watchlists, alerts, holdings or broker details.

Notifications and background use

Alerts are checked on your phone. To keep checking when the app is in the background, the app runs a foreground service and shows a notification while it does. You can turn this off in Settings.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data leaves your phone only as described above: to your broker, to Telegram if you enable it, to market data sources, and to Google for ads and analytics.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored on your device, uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings deletes it. Disconnecting a broker in the app removes its saved login details.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 18.

Not financial advice

Prices may be delayed or wrong, and alerts can be missed (for example when the phone is off or a broker login has expired). Do not rely on the app as your only source for trading decisions.
